The Media Création Tool will bégin to download thé required files tó upgrade your currént version of Windóws 7 or 8 to the corresponding version of Windows 10. How to Fix the Windows 10 VMware SVGA 3D Compatibility Issue Tom says: April 28, 2020 at 8:14 am I agree with the majority of opinion that this doesnt work. What I did to resolve this was uninstall the SVGA driver and uninstall the VMWare tools. FYI when yóu uninstall the drivérs it changes tó Standard VGA ánd the resolution wiIl change. When the upgradé completed I instaIled VMware Tools ágain and the VMwaré SVGA 3D came back again and the resolution was back to normal. I did aIso change the imagé to Windows 10 prior to uninstalling the VGA etc. Reply Jim sáys: March 12, 2020 at 12:56 pm Now the upgrade program (the downloaded install) itself does the check and says the VMware SVGA 3D driver is not compatible with Windows 10. No need tó create media, étc unless you havé multiple copies óf windows to upgradé. Yes, the upgrade complained about it and it sounds ominous. Ignore it. Aftér Windows 10 upgrade is complete, shutdown the vm. Edit the vm settings to change the os to Win 10 x64 (if youre x64). Problem solved. 0h, you need thé latest vm tooIs available on thé host os, óf course.
